Job summary
A food manufacturing company in Penang is hiring a QA Lab Assistant to conduct quality checks and perform laboratory tests. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and enjoy working in a factory environment. Candidates with QA/QC experience are preferred, but fresh graduates willing to learn will also be considered. The role includes maintaining QA records, verifying packaging, and supporting cleanliness monitoring. The position offers a basic salary between RM 2,100 and RM 2,800 with additional benefits.

- Experience in QA/QC, lab work, or food manufacturing is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates may be considered if willing to learn and follow procedures.
- Detail-oriented and disciplined with a focus on following SOP.
- Comfortable working in a factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as pH and viscosity.
- Carry out sampling on the production line and document results accurately.
- Verify packaging/label details and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain QA records, checklists, and reports.
- Support GMP/cleanliness monitoring and report non-conformance.
- Assist with basic equipment care and routine checks.
