A well-established and reputable consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process.
Role Description
- Developing and executing end-to-end supply chain strategies that support production efficiency, cost optimization, and business goals.
- Ensuring seamless coordination across planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Forecasting material requirements, managing MRP systems, ensuring timely material availability, and preventing production bottlenecks.
- Oversees inventory control, warehouse operations, inbound and outbound logistics, and compliance with shipping, safety, and ISO standards.
- Drives continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, resolves supplier quality issues, and promotes sustainable sourcing practices.
- Analyses supply chain data, monitors KPIs, prepares management reports, and leads a cross-functional team to ensure strong collaboration, operational excellence, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP/MRP systems, and lean principles.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Understanding of import/export regulations and logistics operations.
- Professional certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP, CIPS) are an added advantage.
