A leading manufacturing company in Kulai is seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment laws and internal controls. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in the TIMESOFT payroll system will be advantageous. Preparing and processing accurate monthly payroll for local junior and foreign employees, including salaries, allowances, deductions, and reimbursements via TIMESOFT Payroll System.
Ensuring timely and compliance of statutory contribution, such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax (PCB) and HRDF.
Maintaining employee records and personnel files in an organized manner for audit and statutory inspection.
Well maintain and update the employee database in TIMESOFT payroll system.
Handling of employee Socso, insurance claim and registration.
Prepare the absenteeism report and leave report to management.
Handling of employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits and HR policies professionally and confidentially.
Ensure payroll processed follow company policies and internal control standards.
Keep updated with changes in payroll legislation, tax requirements and HR practices.
Administer staff benefits such as medical, dental/optical, miscellaneous claim via TIMESOFT system.
Assisting with general administrative duties, such as uniform, smock inventory issuance, employee locker management and supporting other HR-related tasks.
At least 2 years of experience in a payroll or administrative role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.
Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. For those who has payroll experience in TIMESOFT system will be an added advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
A proactive and problem‑solving mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
