A leading multinational corporation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Corporate Governance Specialist. You will oversee compliance with laws, manage legal documentation, and coordinate with local firms. The ideal candidate has a university degree and 3-7 years of experience. Excellent English and good Mandarin skills are required. This position is only open to Malaysian citizens. Our client is an MNC expanding their business to Malaysia.
- 1)Oversee compliance of legal entities with applicable laws and regulations across various jurisdictions
- 2)Maintain and organize legal documentation, including by-laws, contracts, minutes of meetings, and other relevant legal documents
- 3)Draft and revise documents relating to legal entities
- 4)Coordinate the work of local law firms and corporate service providers in various jurisdictions
- 5) Carry out research in the business unit's specialist field
- 6)Carry out administrative and legal tasks assigned by the manager
- 1)University degree
- 2) A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant professional experience
- 3) Excellent command of written and spoken English; good command of Chinese (Mandarin)
- 4) Good analysis skills: ability to interpret applicable laws, regulations and case law
- 5) Proactive, curious, rigorous, detail-oriented, professional and organized (deadlines and priority management)
- 6) Good oral communication skills
- 7) Sense of service and team spirit
