Job summary

An automotive repair workshop in Selangor is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare accurate repair cost estimates for vehicles involved in accidents and insurance claims. The ideal candidate must have over 5 years of experience specifically in Body & Paint. Responsibilities include liaising with insurance adjusters and overseeing repair progress. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of the Merimen insurance system and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accident repair estimation, specifically in Body & Paint.
• Able to identify parts and assess repair methods accurately.
• Possess a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate repair cost estimates for vehicles.
• Liaise with insurance adjusters, surveyors, and customers regarding estimates.

Job description

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate repair cost estimates for accident and insurance claim vehicles ( Body & Paint ).

Prepare quotation repair cost for Socar and TNB.

Inspect vehicle damages and determine parts, labor, and paint required.

Liaise with insurance adjusters, surveyors, and customers regarding estimates and approvals.

Monitor repair progress and update customers and claim advisor accordingly.

Ensure proper documentation for all insurance require.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years above experience in accident repair estimation ( Body & Paint ).
• Knowledge of Merimen or insurance claim system is COMPULSORY.
• Able to identify parts and assess repair methods accurately.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Possess valid driving license.
• Responsible, honest, and able to work independently.

Working days ( Monday to Saturday ) ( 9:00 am to 6:30 pm )
