Job description

We are seeking talented Mechanical or Electrical Engineers to join our growing team at JY CONSULT PLT (M&E Consultancy) in Pusat Bandar Puchong, Selangor. As a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of complex engineering systems, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our client's facilities. This is a full-time position, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and overseeing the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, swimming pool, lift/escalator and electrical distribution
• Conducting regular inspections of existing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
• Preparing detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project planning and execution
• Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of engineering-related matters
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, swimming pool, lift/escalator and electrical distribution
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Required skills : AutoCad, BIM, Microsoft Office, basic knowledge in mechanical and electrical services for building, knowledge and experience in design. Bonus points for having a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical services for buildings.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly preferred
