Job summary
A leading furniture company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated sales professional to promote soft furnishings such as curtains, wallpapers, and carpets tailored for the hospitality market. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing business strategies, and managing client relationships. Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary for success in this role, along with a drive to achieve results. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to business growth.
Responsibilities
- Promote soft furnishings (curtain, wallpaper, carpet) to prospective clients.
- Plan and implement sales targets set by management.
- Identify new business opportunities and market strategies.
- Handle customer inquiries and maintain client relationships.
- Prepare and submit sales quotations and ensure timely payment.
- Provide feedback to project and design teams.
- Promote the company’s products –soft furnishing : curtain, wall paper & carpet for hotel / hospitality market / show units and sales galleries) to prospective clients
- To plan, develop, implement and strike for achieving the sales target set by the Management
- To identify and explore new business opportunities, formulate business plans and devise innovative marketing strategies for market diversification
- To attend to and handle all the customer / project enquiries with comprehensive responses, visits. Negotiations and follow up action
- Cultivate strong relationship and rapport with existing and potential clients / developers and other stakeholders
- To prepare and submit quotation to clients and ensure timely collection of sales payment
- Provide continuous, constructive feedback to project and design team
