Job Responsibilities

• This is a highly specialized role for a JSM Workflow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom workflows and integrations within Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM).
• The primary goal is to deliver efficient, maintainable, and scalable workflow solutions that enhance IT service processes and the overall user experience.
• Key technical requirements include strong proficiency in TypeScript, experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and work with product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Forge development and DevOps practices is a strong advantage.

• The role reports into the Platform and Product Services Business Unit.
• The team structure includes a specific Team Lead.
• The expectation is to work closely with cross‑functional teams (including product managers, designers, and QA engineers) to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• The successful candidate is expected to be self‑motivated, demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and continuously seek to optimize processes by staying current with the latest Atlassian technologies.

Key Requirements

• Platform Expertise: Proven experience developing workflows and integrations for Atlassian products, with a focus on Jira Service Management (JSM).
• Programming Proficiency: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in Node.js and React being a plus.
