Business Development Manager - UK and Europe
Location – UK but flexible to airports and motorway networks for international travel.
Salary - £60k to £70k basic with bonus to £12k per annum plus car and benefits.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting and wide-ranging opportunity, working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations in America, Asia, and Europe. The business manufactures a range of test and measurement equipment with associated services and provides these solutions to end users in sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, Healthcare, and more. These are sold via distribution partners across these territories.
The Role
This role focuses on the UK market strategy for sales via distribution partners in various segments of business and industry, along with a focus on the European footprint. Existing partners exist, and some excellent results derive from these relationships, which will be nurtured by you. The role involves market analysis, gap analysis to assess trends and future opportunities, analyzing product offerings, pricing, and feedback to product management and sales teams. You will shape sales strategies at a country level and collaborate with local sales teams across Europe to optimize potential.
The Applicant
You should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions or be technically inclined. You will be a strategic thinker and long-term planner with experience in business development and growth strategies for emerging markets. A strong background in export or international sales and flexibility for international travel is essential. Experience working with different group companies and decision makers across countries, possibly within a matrix organizational structure, will be advantageous.
