Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, plus bonus up to £12k per annum, along with a car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a group of 10 global manufacturers across America, Asia, and Europe. The company produces test and measurement equipment, providing solutions to sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare, sold through distribution partners worldwide.

The Role

The focus is on developing the UK market strategy for sales through distribution partners across various business segments, along with expanding the European footprint. You will nurture existing relationships, conduct market and gap analysis to identify trends and opportunities, and collaborate with product management and sales teams to optimize strategies at both domestic and European levels.

The Applicant

Candidates should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions or possess a technical background. Strategic thinking, long-term planning, and experience in business development and growth strategies for emerging markets are essential. A strong background in export or international sales, along with flexibility for international travel, is required. Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across countries is advantageous.
