Business Development Manager - UK and Europe

Location – UK, with flexibility for international travel via airports and motorway networks.

Salary - £60k to £70k basic, with bonus potential up to £12k per annum, plus car and benefits.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting role working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations in America, Asia, and Europe. The company manufactures test and measurement equipment and services, supplying end users in sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Healthcare through distribution partners across these territories.

The Role

This role involves developing the UK market strategy for sales via distribution partners across various industry segments, along with expanding the European footprint. You will nurture existing relationships and analyze market trends, product offerings, and pricing to inform product management and sales strategies. You will shape sales strategies at the country level and collaborate with local sales teams across Europe to maximize potential.

The Applicant

You should have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions, or at least be technically persuasive. You must be a strategic thinker with a strong background in business development and growth strategies for emerging markets. Experience in export or international sales, with flexibility for extensive travel, is essential. Familiarity with working in a matrix organization with multiple decision-makers across different countries is advantageous.
