A maritime staffing agency seeks a Casino Manager for operations aboard a cruise ship. This role includes supervising casino staff, maintaining financial performance, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. Candidates should have 3+ years of casino management experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Flexible working hours are required.
- Assist the Casino Manager in the day-to-day operation of the casino onboard the cruise ship
- Manage and supervise a team of casino staff, including dealers, cashiers, and technicians
- Monitor and maintain the financial performance of the casino, including revenue, expenses, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and company policies
- Train and develop casino staff to provide exceptional customer service and promote responsible gaming practices
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests in the casino
- Maintain accurate records of casino operations, including financial transactions and player tracking
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in regular meetings with the Casino Manager and other department heads to discuss performance and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a casino management role
- Strong knowledge of casino operations, including gaming regulations and financial management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Customer service-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to guests
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary licenses and certifications
