The role of the Senior Security & Fire Systems Project Manager is to oversee the execution of all security related projects (advanced CCTV and monitoring equipment installations) providing Project Managers support in planning, execution, and control of active projects to ensure delivery within time and budget.

A primary focus of the role is to provide project cost performance analysis across all active projects through effective and compliant cost attribution, financial control and reporting covering areas including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, journals, and cash flow monitoring as well as managing payments claims and budget cost variations. This will be executed via the selected company management systems and software packages.

The Senior Security & Fire Systems Project Manager will be responsible for resource planning across projects with support from the PMO manager to ensure projects are adequately resourced and may if the need arises be required to take on direct project management responsibilities. The Senior Security & Fire Systems Project Manager will primarily focus on the following but not limited to.

• Building Project Financial intelligence across all projects in the portfolio.
• Standardising project financial and progress reporting.
• Ensuring live and accurate financial data is available, a reported on at the agreed intervals.
• Liaise with the Financial department and Project Managers to ensure accuracy in project financial reporting.
• Manage, track and forecast project spend against project budgets
• Provide support to sales and pre-sales in pricing project management related costs.
• Take responsibility for accurate and timely invoicing on projects.
• Interface with client to ensure timely payments against invoicing and ensuring payments are carried in line with agreed payment terms
• Assist in Project Management Office management and defining and refining project process and templates.
• Manage ring-fenced/ integrated projects on an ad-hoc basis
• Dedicated Project Management on certain identified future projects

• Active member of the Project Management institution (PMP) or other equivalent Project management accreditation.
• Minimum 5 Years Turnkey Projects, and Contract Management within managed Projects
• Five years of security industry experience, including two or more years in Contract Managed Projects
• Experience in ERP deployment projects will be an advantage
• SAQCC experience or exposure will be an advantage
• Fire Gas suppression systems implementation experience will be an advantage

• Building Project Financial intelligence across all projects
• Liaise with the Financial department and Project Managers to build centralised financial reporting across all projects
• Dedicated Project Management on certain identified future projects
