A global humanitarian organization is seeking a Project Manager for the Early Childhood Development project. The successful candidate will lead the planning and oversight of project activities, ensuring that young children receive necessary support to thrive. Ideal applicants will have experience in program management and youth engagement, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential. This full-time role based in Pretoria offers an opportunity to drive impactful community programs.
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children's rights and equality for girls.
Women, especially girls, are most affected by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination.
The Project Manager will be responsible for general technical oversight and will provide leadership and management oversight in the implementation of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Realizing Full Potential project.
The project aims to secure a strong foundation for young children in five districts (Chifunabuli, Kawambwa, Mwansabombwe, Nchelenge and Chiengi).
The Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities that support parents, caregivers, community-based organisations, state institutions and other actors, ensuring that— from before birth—young girls and boys receive the care, support and services needed to survive, grow healthy and develop to their full potential, free from gendered norms and discriminatory attitudes.
Location: Nchelenge, Luapula Program Area, Zambia
Contract: Fixed Term, Full Time
Reports to: Programme Area Manager
Grade: Hay Level 14
