A leading utility provider in Vereeniging is seeking a skilled technician for automation control equipment servicing and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in PLC and automation. Responsibilities include tuning automated control systems and supporting artisans. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. This role is vital for ensuring reliability and availability of water quality indications.

Qualifications

  • 3 years in PLC and Automation maintenance improvement environment.
  • Competent in communication networks such as Profibus and Modbus.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to pass RW K53 test.

Responsibilities

  • Tuning and maintenance of automated control systems.
  • Support artisans during servicing and maintenance.
  • Compile and submit monthly reports.
