Job summary
A leading utility company is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist in Pretoria to manage employee relations and ensure compliance with labor strategies. The role requires a recognized qualification in Labour Relations, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a unionised environment. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of CCMA proceedings. This position is pivotal in enhancing workplace conditions and minimizing disputes while supporting organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- 3 years proven experience in a unionised environment and in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of the CCMA and bargaining council proceedings is essential.
- A valid driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure standard Employee Relations Management processes.
- Implement effective ER strategies, policies and procedures.
- Monitor climate and report on trends and potential risks.
