Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct planned maintenance and routine inspections.
2. Repair plant equipment and machine-related breakdowns.
3. Perform ad hoc tasks as required by line manager.
4. Create and complete specific job cards on the performance management system (Electronic systems).

• Matric Certificate, with recognised N3 mechanical trade theory.
• Qualified Artisan (Fitter and Turner) with recognised Trade Certificate.
• Must be qualified to work on Lathe and Milling Machines.
• Basic rigging experience with proof of training is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of boiler house operations.
• Arc and gas welding experience is essential.
• Own transport.
• Willing to do shift work and overtime on weekends based on production requirements.
• Forklift driving skills.
• Own toolset should be available.
