Sales Manager (Electrical Manufacturing/Busway)

A new player on the street, established for the past three years and looking to expand a new BU (Business Unit) within electrical distribution (protection, monitoring, transmission, for example - busway).


Your new role

The role involves leading a new business unit in electrical distribution, focusing on protection, monitoring, and transmission systems like busways. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing technical support through product demonstrations and consultations. The role also involves generating and managing leads, negotiating sales contracts, conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends, tracking sales performance, and preparing reports and forecasts. Additionally, if applicable, the role includes managing a sales team, setting goals, providing training, and monitoring performance.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in busway sales, preferably be Malaysian, and have relevant experience in the electrical distribution business. They must possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, particularly busway and switchgear technology, and demonstrate proven sales and business acumen, including the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, build client relationships, and close deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyse data, identify trends, and solve issues. If applicable, the candidate should have strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a sales team, and possess comprehensive industry knowledge and awareness of market trends.
