About the Role
We are looking for a Front‑End Web Developer to manage and improve our e‑commerce websites across multiple brands and markets. This role focuses on building high‑performing, mobile‑first, conversion‑optimised storefronts using Shopify and modern front‑end technologies, working closely with marketing, design, and marketplace teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customise themes and templates to match our brand identity and requirements.
Implement new features and functionalities on the Shopify platform using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Optimise website performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.
Integrate third‑party applications and plugins to extend the web's capabilities and meet business needs.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to web configuration, code, and integrations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development and e‑commerce technology.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality assurance and address any bugs or issues promptly.
Provide technical support and assistance to team members and end‑users as needed.
Continuously monitor website performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects is an advantage.
Proficiency in web theme development, including customising and extending existing themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of e‑commerce principles and best practices, particularly in relation to user experience and conversion optimisation.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic SEO knowledge.
Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Multimedia, or equivalent experience.
2–5 years of experience in front‑end development (e‑commerce experience preferred).
Hands‑on experience with Shopify (themes, Liquid, sections, metafields).
