Business Development Manager

The hiring company is an MNC communication firm assisting thousands of large enterprises in crafting the right brand messages for intended results. They are looking for a replacement for Business Development Manager in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities
  • Propose and execute sales strategies, programs and activities
  • Proactively identify potential new clients and develop new business relationships
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business goals and operations
  • Identify suitable marketing channels for go-to-market plans
  • Develop product positioning plans for assigned product portfolio
  • Evaluate sales and profit by market segments
  • Identify partner motivations and key drivers for collaboration
  • Build relationships and work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders to customize communication for intended markets
  • Review the effectiveness of sales policies and procedures and provide feedback
Requirements
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in the advertising/ branding/ marketing/ digital marketing/ public relations industry working in a similar capacity
  • Have experience working closely with creative professionals/ content creators
  • Have a deep understanding of the current industry trends
  • Proficient in English in both written and spoken as well as minimally proficient spoken in Chinese/Malay
  • Have an active social media presence
  • Possess a valid international passport
