Job summary
A leading hospitality startup in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager. The role involves overseeing business development in the region, identifying and onboarding new properties, and negotiating commercial agreements. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan & oversee business development efforts for the company in assigned areas/clusters with a goal to onboard properties onto the company's network.
- Identify new properties that meet the company's standards in terms of location, pricing, infrastructure quality, owner (partner) willingness, etc., and pitch the company's partnership proposal.
- Negotiate the company's commercial agreement with interested partners.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to drive top-line for the partner.
- Collaborate with other teams in the company, such as operations, marketing, pricing, customer support, finance, etc., to ensure smooth functioning of properties on a day-to-day basis.
- Looking to work for a hyper-growth and technology-led business that is transforming the hospitality industry.
- Experience in B2B sales of at least 2-4 years.
- A high degree of ownership & roll up your sleeves attitude.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work in undefined situations.
- Skilled in Excel and database management.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
