Job summary
A leading industrial chemicals company based in Malaysia is seeking a motivated sales professional to drive market strategies and meet business objectives. The successful candidate will expand the customer portfolio and analyze market conditions to enhance profitability. Applicants should have experience in the PVC and rubber industries and be prepared for travel. This position is crucial for safeguarding and growing market presence.
Qualifications
- Experience in PVC, coating, plastic, latex, adhesive and rubber industry.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care ingredients, foods ingredients specialties marketing.
- Skills in sourcing new materials.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales activities to meet objectives within budget.
- Support strategy execution for market penetration and profitability.
- Evaluate market conditions and recommend actions for growth.
- Expand customer portfolio, requiring travel.
Responsible to drive the sales activities and ensure that set objectives and targets within the approved budget are met.
Supporting Deputy Managing Director in formulating and executing business strategies and plans to ensure profitability of the company by protecting and expanding market penetration and coverage.
Continuously keeping up to date with market developments that can affect the business.
Evaluate market conditions and recommend appropriate next steps to maximize business growth positively.
Expansion of customer portfolio base which includes both local and International accounts, in which travelling will be required.
Preparation and presentation of management and performance reports.
To perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department and the Management as and when required.
Experience in PVC, coating, plastic, latex, adhesive and rubber industry, pharmaceutical, personal care ingredients, foods ingredients specialties marketing and new materials sourcing.
