Be passionate about building scalable, user-centric web applications. You are detail-oriented and care not only how something is built, but how it feels to use. You have an eye for design and care when something looks a little off. Expertise in CSS & JS is essential.

We are primarily a web-based platform. Our frontend stack is Tailwind & VueJS, and NodeJS power all our APIs and core business logic. As a Frontend Web Developer, your eagerness to learn and contribute across the entire software stack will be crucial.

In the beginning, you'll be actively involved in writing, testing, and deploying code for the frontend, collaborating closely with senior developers and product managers. You will be expected to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle. There is scope to become full-stack if you desire.

Curiosity and a strong desire to learn new technologies and programming paradigms will be highly valued. As part of a small team you'll be given the opportunity to work across multiple products and learn new software. Within 1 month, you'll be...

• Directly involved in our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design to deployment
• Assisting in developing and testing new features for our web platform, writing unit tests and documentation
• Collaborating with senior developers to understand the existing codebase and contribute to bug fixes
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews and learning best practices
  

Within 3 months, you'll be...

• Taking ownership of smaller features, from front-end implementation to UX, taking into account performance and security.
• Learning and applying new technologies and frameworks as required by projects
• Contributing to API development and integration
• Collaborating with Product Managers and Senior Engineering Leads to translate requirements into technical solutions
  
  

Within 6 months, you'll be...

• Proactively identifying areas for improvement in our existing applications and suggesting solutions
• Designing and implementing robust and efficient solutions for new features
• Championing best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and deployment
  
  

Requirements For This Role

• Min 1 year work experience in a software development role, preferably in a startup. (Formal education is not required, but a relevant degree or bootcamp completion is a plus)
• Proven ability to deliver results, with a bias for action. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• An eye for design and passion for good UX
• Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and CSS. Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) is helpful
• Keen to learn and stay updated with the latest web development techniques and technologies
• Excellent English written and verbal communication is a must
