Quantity Surveyor
Job summary
A leading recruitment platform is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing contract documents, cost estimations, and project budgets. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields, with 1-3 years of relevant experience being preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, contract documents, and cost reports.
- Source and evaluate quotations and provide recommendations.
- Assist in tender preparation and maintain proper documentation.
Skills
Education
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), contract documents, cost reports, and other QS-related documents.
- Prepare cost estimations and project budgets based on preliminary or detailed design information.
- Source and evaluate quotations, conduct price comparison and provide recommendations.
- Review and verify contract drawings and specifications, highlight discrepancies or variations.
- Assist the Contract Manager in tender preparation, progress claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing according to company procedures and ISO standards.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow and cost control activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams on all contractual matters.
- Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by the management from time to time.
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related field.
- 1–3 years of working experience in aluminum and glazing works is an added advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
