We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Engineer to support project execution across various sites. The role involves assisting the Project Engineer in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily project activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Engineer in planning coordinating, and supervising daily project activities.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, installers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of systems (CCTV, networking, electrical, low‑voltage).
- Conduct site inspections, verify workmanship quality, and report any issues or non‑compliance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, checklists, as‑built drawings, and material tracking.
- Assist in resolving technical issues on‑site and escalate to the Project Engineer when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper on‑site procedures.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on site status and technical matters.
- Coordinate material deliveries, monitor inventory, and ensure required equipment is available.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to support project requirements and feedback.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of project engineering processes, site supervision, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of CCTV, networking, low‑voltage, or related systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and as‑built plans.
- Basic understanding of installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Ability to identify and support resolution of technical issues on‑site under guidance.
