Business Development & Marketing Executive
Job summary
A leading solar energy company in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Executive to drive new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will develop key relationships, manage proposals, and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies. Qualifications include a diploma in Business or Marketing, and 2 years of experience in business development or marketing. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and English is essential, while knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
- Develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present proposals and solutions to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams for project execution.
- Prepare market reports and sales forecasts.
- Execute marketing strategies, including campaigns and events.
- Manage social media accounts and content creation.

Prepare, pitch, and present detailed proposals and customized solutions to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects.
Prepare market research reports, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts for management.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote products and services, including campaigns, digital marketing, and trade shows.
Manage social media accounts, content creation, newsletters, and email campaigns to generate leads.
Organize webinars, events, and industry presentations to enhance brand visibility.
- SPM / Diploma in Business, Marketing or related fields
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (experience in the solar or renewable energy industry preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, software, and MS Office.
- Proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage.
