Data Scientist jobs in Malaysia

We are seeking a highly capable Data Scientist to join our team, with strong experience in machine learning modeling and a proven ability to lead data projects independently. This role requires end-to-end ownership of analytical initiatives from problem definition and model development to deployment and stakeholder engagement while delivering actionable insights that drive business impact.

Work closely with stakeholders to define business problems and translate them into ML solutions.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (温ある) to uncover trends, anomalies, and patterns.

Design, train, and validate predictive or classification models using appropriate ML algorithms.

To evaluate and validate the model to assess model robustness and generalization. Compare multiple models and select the best‑performing one for production.

To deploy models into Customer Data Platform (CDP) environments.

Continuously monitor model performance post‑deployment to detect drift and retrain, as necessary.

Ensure all data activities support Peso Data roadmap.

Prepare and review quarterly PDCA reports with the Department Head.

Handle ad‑hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

Strong analytical skill with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface cross‑functionality with other division/department.

Experience with SQL and MySQL or other related databases.

Knowledge in scripting language; Phyton and R or other related.

Industry experience in data management and analytical.

Experience in business intelligence, Big Data, iOT or other similar areas.

Knowledge in Data Management and advantage to have related certification.

Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Data Science.
