Job summary

A technology solutions company based in Malaysia seeks a Sales Executive to generate leads, manage customer relationships, and execute sales strategies. Job description

1. Sales generation and prospecting by identify potential clients through superiors, research, networking, cold calling, social media, and industry events or any media which appropriate and related.

2. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers. Qualify the leads based on business needs and potential value.

3. Responsible in handling the sales strategy and execution. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.

4. Prepare and deliver technical presentations/proposals explaining products or services to respective new and existing customers.

5. Responding and attend to customer inquiries and needs promptly. Understand customer requirements and present solutions that address their need.

6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close the deals.

7. Secure and follow up orders by working closely with operation team on the inventories, delivery, payment and after sales service.

8. Build strong customer relationship management; incorporate regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

9. Analysing costs and sales. Preparing weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts by collecting, analysing and summarizing sales information.

10. Assisting in the marketing to develop campaigns, exhibitions and promotional materials.

11. Stay updated on industry changes, sales techniques, and product knowledge.

12. Represent the company professionally to expand products, brand and company visibility within the group.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor Degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronic / chemical engineering / chemistry & etc.

2. Additional certifications such as project management will be an added strength.

3. Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in the industry or field. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

4. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. Able to use and understand computer-aided design software applications such as Autocad, Solidworks etc.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.

6. Willingness and ability to travel most of the time, depending on the position and sales role either locally or oversea.

7. Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

8. Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.

9. Negotiation and social problem-solving skills.

10. Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
