Job summary

A financial services company in Penang is seeking an experienced Accountant to supervise financial operations including accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor degree in finance and over three years of experience in manufacturing finance. Familiarity with Autocount software and Malaysian tax regulations is essential. This role offers an opportunity to manage budgeting, cash flow, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above in finance or other related majors.
  • More than three years of experience in manufacturing finance.
  • Familiar with the laws and regulations of Malaysia's taxation and customs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable and financial reporting.
  • Manage budget, cash flow, and expenditures.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and analysis.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets and financial reporting.
  • Manage budget and control income, cash flow and expenditures.
  • Handle day to day operations of accounting record and filing.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation, monthly analysis, daily collection.
  • Manage tax calculation and declaration.
  • Interact with external auditors, authorities and tax agents on the accounting audit and income tax matters if required.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly employee payroll and in compliance with the statutory requirement.
  • Responsible to prepare annual EA and form E accurately and submission on time.
  • Maintaining employee data in HR system and maintaining complete filing system.
  • Ensure statutory payment contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN) are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above in finance or other related majors.
  • More than three years of experience in manufacturing finance.
  • Familiar with Autocount financial software, proficient in using Word, Excel and other office software.
  • Familiar with the laws and regulations of Malaysia's taxation, customs and other departments, as well as tax laws, LMW related regulations and operations, declaration matters.
  • Those with experience in electronic invoice operation (E-invoice) are preferred.
