Job summary
A recruitment agency in Malaysia seeks a proactive manager or assistant manager to oversee accounting and administrative functions. Responsibilities include managing bookkeeping, invoice processing, and HR functions. This role serves as the primary link with the Japan headquarters.

We are seeking a proactive and self-driven manager or assistant manager candidate to oversee the company’s accounting, administrative functions. The role requires covering not only accounting tasks but also a wide range of general administrative responsibilities. This person should be able to propose new policies and rules and demonstrate the ability to independently initiate tasks by correctly understanding objectives, even in the absence of existing manuals or guidelines.
- Establishing procedures with banks, equity partners and government offices, and developing rules necessary for office operations
- Overseeing general accounting operations, including bookkeeping and expense management
- Handling invoice processing, payment cycles, and reconciliations
- Managing HR functions including employee relations, compliance and recruitment
- Acting as the primary communication channel with the Japan headquarters
