A dynamic design firm is seeking an Interior Designer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will create engaging 2D/3D drawings and oversee project activities. Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Diploma in a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in interior design, proficiency in software like AutoCAD and 3D Max, and strong design principles. Successful performance will be assessed based on design sense and software skills, contributing to both innovative project designs and company growth.
Create 3D and 2D drawings and renderings for interior design projects.
Conduct site measurements to ensure accuracy in design plans.
Continuously provide trend-aligned ideas to the department to support company growth and self-improvement. Proactively propose new concepts and initiatives.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Manage site activities during the project implementation phase.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
Oversee the design process from initial concept to final execution.
Ensure the overall design aesthetic and functionality of each space.
Provide ongoing support and modifications based on client feedback.
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in interior design.
Proficient in 3D design software (3D Max, Coohom, SketchUp).
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Experience with rendering software like Corona.
Ability to create detailed 2D/3D design drawings.
Ability to develop skills in site management and measurement.
Good understanding of design principles and the ability to translate them into practical and aesthetic solution
Performance will be reviewed primarily based on Coohom skills and design sense; cultural adaptability will be considered as secondary factors.
