Job summary

A leading construction firm in Malaysia is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist in contract management and project budgeting. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry and a relevant Bachelor's degree. This role offers dynamic working opportunities with travel to various sites when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Contract Managers in contract management services;
  • Involve in both pre-contract and post-contract management for the projects;
  • To coordinate with the operation team, vendors such as consultants and contractors on the contract requirements;
  • Preparation of budgets, quotations, tender evaluation reports, and contract documents for the projects;
  • Dealing with authorities, consultants, suppliers and contractors on various aspects of the project;
  • Involve in the preparation of project status report, site visit/ meetings and monitoring of project budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in QuantitySurveying/ Construction or relevant field;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience within the construction industry;
  • Well-developed organizational, analytical and communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage commitments and adjust to changing priorities;
  • Independent, resourceful, good planning with good interpersonalskills;
  • Successful candidatesmust be able to travel to various sites when required.
