Job summary
A growing software and hardware solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support financial operations and growth. Zeoniq Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing provider of innovative Point-of-Sale (POS) software and hardware solutions, serving clients across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. We are expanding and looking for a driven Assistant Finance Manager to support our finance operations and regional growth.
- Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing daily accounting and finance operations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Review and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts
- Handle tax matters including SST submissions and liaising with tax agents
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and other external parties
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance practices
- Support financial analysis for business planning and decision-making
- Supervise and mentor junior finance/accounting staff
- Assist in group reporting and consolidation across regional offices (e.g., SG, PH, VN, ID, TH)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia tax regulations, SST, and financial reporting standards (e.g., MFRS)
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., AutoCount or similar)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong organizational skills
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
