Job summary
A recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a receptionist to manage front desk operations, greet clients, and handle phone calls. Candidates should be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with good communication skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred. The company offers a salary range of RM2,500 to RM3,000, a Monday to Friday work schedule, and a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role is an advantage.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests and clients professionally.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Manage front desk operations and cleanliness.
Skills
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
RM2,500 to RM3,000 (Basic)
- Greet and welcome guests and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments
- Manage front desk operations, including receiving parcels, letters, and deliveries
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
- Perform basic administrative and clerical duties (filing, photocopying, data entry, etc.)
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate restocking
- Ensure compliance with visitor policies and internal protocols
- Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role is an advantage
- Punctual, reliable, and able to multitask
- Presentable appearance and good communication in English
