Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and handling of full sets of accounts.
  • Project Support: Assist with progress billing, claims handling, and project cost accounting to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting processes to support effective financial planning.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Perform data entry, prepare financial statements, assist in month-end closing, and generate reconciliation reports.
  • Payment Oversight: Handle various financial disbursements, including employee salaries, claims, incentives, and other company-related payments. Monitor the preparation and movement of cheques.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track ageing of receivables to ensure timely collection and prepare cash flow statements and financial summaries.
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical support including document filing, email management, and stationery inventory control. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • External Coordination: Liaise with tax agents, company secretaries, and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Provide support for other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
