Senior Corporate Secretary & Governance Advisor
Job summary
A leading aerospace and defense company in Selangor is seeking a Company Secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Accounting and be a licensed Company Secretary. With 3-5 years of relevant experience, the candidate should have strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate law, excellent communication, and organizational skills. This role offers a significant opportunity to advise management and the Board on corporate governance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field is required.
- Must be a licensed Company Secretary registered with SSM.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act 2016.
- Organize and prepare board meetings, minutes, and resolutions.
- Maintain statutory records and timely lodgement of returns with SSM.
- Advise management on governance, compliance, and corporate secretarial matters.
