Job description

Our client is an established manufacturer, specializing in industrial packaging and laminates. They are currently looking for a Sales Executive to be based in Melaka.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist superior to promote company products and services to target audience and prospect i.e. architect, developer, contractor, strategic partners and other related government agencies.
• To analyze market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
• To build strong relationship and networking with the existing clienteles and prospects.
• Establish new leads and contacts, making cold calls, visiting and conducting presentation to prospects accordingly.
• To educate customers and prospects regarding product features, specifications and benefits of company products and services.
• To assist and participate in company sales and marketing related activities or exhibitions, organization continuous improvement program whenever required.
• Continuously learn and acquire technical skills and product knowledge of company core product range, the industrial laminates.

Job Requirement

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/ Marketing/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in sales / marketing / client management in related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and do not resist in canvassing for sales.
• Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Have good presentation, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Willing to work for extra hours and complete a critical task with a very tight schedule.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia (main) or overseas whenever required.
• Must be willing to work in Melaka.
