Job summary

A logistics company in Alor Setar is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations and communication within the warehouse. The role includes managing inventory, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth daily activities. Candidates must possess a Diploma or higher and have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in building materials. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential. The job requires working in a warehouse environment, which may be physically demanding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in building materials trade.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin.
  • Proactive team player capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with warehouse workers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle warehouse administration including delivery orders and shipping records.
  • Support stocktaking preparation and execution.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing stock.

Job description
Responsibilities

To coordinate well with warehouse workers (driver, storekeeper, general worker) and ensure all warehouse activities smooth operation of the warehouse.

To handle warehouse's administration works such issuing delivery order, shipping record, stocks enquiries & etc.

Support during the preparation and execution of stocktaking.

Handle warehouse daily activities such as incoming and outgoing stock.

Plan and maintain inventory and storage area.

Able to communicate with customer to ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.

Handle data entry for government-related requirements, including lorry permit applications, renewals, and related documentation filing.

Any ad hoc duty assigned by Superior from time to time.

Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in any fields.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, experiences in building materials trade will be add advantage
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa or able to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Good in Computer literate and knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A proactive team player who able to work under pressure, work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Willing and able to work in a open store or warehouse environment where conditions may be hot on certain days as required by operational needs
