Art Teacher Job Responsibilities
Looking for Art Teacher for Primary (Y1-Y3);
Teach fundamental knowledge and skills in various art forms including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history.
Instruct students in citizenship and other basic subjects as required by state laws and school regulations.
Facilitate learning experiences that enable students to develop aesthetic concepts, appreciations, and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art.
Demonstrate proficient techniques in activities such as drawing and painting, including the versatility of acrylic paints and various "masters" techniques.
Apply elements of design and modern principles of art in teaching.
Provide individual and small-group instruction tailored to accommodate students' varying intellectual and artistic abilities.
Instruct students in the proper care and use of art tools and equipment.
Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring efficient use of materials, equipment, and tools.
Evaluate students' performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understanding, and prepare progress reports.
