Job summary

A leading HR services provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled HR Officer to manage the full cycle recruitment process, ensure compliance in payroll and statutory requirements, and support employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess 2-4 years of experience in HR, alongside being familiar with Malaysian labor laws. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Full cycle recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating onboarding activities for new hires.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Handle the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation in accordance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and maintain related documentation.

Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures and general HR matters.

Employee Engagement: Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives such as team building activities, festive celebrations and internal events.

HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with audit and legal requirements.

Training & Development Support: Coordinate and track employee training sessions, certifications, and learning initiatives to support continuous development.

Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties to support HR operations and ensure efficient office functioning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2-4 years of experience in HR or People Operations roles.

Familiar with Malaysian labor laws and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDF).

Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Quick to adapt to HR systems/ tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
