A fast-growing international company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimates, budget planning, and project compliance. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with 4-6 years of QS experience in industrial projects. We are assisting our client to source potential candidates for the position of Quantity Surveyor, to be based in Johor Bahru.

Prepare cost estimates, detailed cost plans, and preliminary budgets for industrial construction projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies.
Review tender documents, prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), and manage tender evaluations.
Participate in contract negotiations and provide commercial recommendations.
Monitor project costs, budget utilization, and financial projections.
Manage contract administration including progress claims, variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT) assessments, and payment certification.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing to ensure cost competitiveness.
Maintain accurate cost records, documentation, and reports for management review.
Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost and contractual alignment.
Perform site visits to verify work progress and validate quantities.
Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and relevant regulations.
Support risk assessments, cost mitigation plans, and value engineering proposals.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 4–6 years of QS experience, preferably within industrial, factory, or warehouse construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, JKR) and procurement processes.
Proficient in measurement, BQ preparation, cost analysis and Microsoft Office; familiarity with QS software is an added advantage.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
