Role Overview

As an Accounts Executive at Luther Corporate Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves managing the full accounting cycle, from bookkeeping to preparing comprehensive management and annual reports, while ensuring strict compliance with SFRS standards and GST regulations. You will leverage your expertise to review accounts prepared by regional support offices, address complex client inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams, HQ, and auditors. In this client-facing role, your ability to provide accurate and timely reporting and resolve challenging audit issues will be key to maintaining client trust and satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take ownership of the client accounting process.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts.
• Preparation of management reports, annual reports and reporting packages.
• Preparation and submission of GST returns. Liaise with IRAS during GST audits
• Supervise and correct the work of junior accounting staff
• Liaise with HQ, external auditors, clients and internal staff.

Qualification:

• Recognized degree in accounting or equivalent professional qualification like ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and GST
• At least 5 years of working experience handling multiple full set of accounts in an client accounting or professional accounting firm.
• Supervisory experience is a strong plus
• Good experience in addressing and resolving challenging audit issues raised by auditors.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Comfortable in handling difficult clients from different background and industries.
• Team player, meticulous and deadline-driven
• Able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
