The Healthcare Infrastructure Projects Division is a multidisciplinary team consisting of medical planners, architects, engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, and asset management professionals, supporting the development and building of public healthcare infrastructure projects such as regional and community hospitals, specialist centres, polyclinics and nursing homes to prepare for future demand.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous professional to join our growing team. In the role you will provide expertise in developing Furniture & Equipment (F&E) Guidelines and Work Instructions; as well as supporting healthcare infrastructure projects with cost benchmarking in procurement of F&E and conducting lean assessment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Bio-medical F&E planning and delivery
To develop HIPD Furniture & Equipment (F&E), and formulate F&E guidelines, work instructions, etc. to support MOH-IPP healthcare infrastructure projects on essential F&E – medical and non-medical.
To develop Budget Estimate Tool.
To conduct cost benchmarking exercise in supporting healthcare infrastructure projects.
To conduct due-diligence reviews / cost reasonableness reviews on cost plans for capital grant projects.
To generate all necessary reports, dashboards and perform statistics analysis when required.
To assist in data analysis and produce reports in MS Word and Power Point Slides.
To develop the F&E online system integration and system upgrading.
To plan and facilitate lean medical modalities workshops for infrastructural projects.
To implement an integrated F&E and budget plan including documentation reporting and monitoring framework for the new PHI's.
To have a strong medical and clinical extensive knowledge in various engineering techniques.
To lead lean six sigma studies on healthcare processes and workflows.
To conduct presentations / sharing sessions with clusters upon invitations / requests.
Acquire domain knowledge and build technical expertise within MOH/H for the development and implementation of F&E.
Consolidate and share lesson learned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, building and construction management, engineering or related disciplines.
Experience and competent in quantity surveying / projects management / engineering field.
Experience and competent in contract administration, measurement principles and valuation of works.
Familiar with tender and material price trends in the local construction industry.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
Meticulous and detail oriented.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Good team player with good interpersonal skills.
Good MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Proven track record of at least 10 years of relevant working experience in management roles and involvement in complex healthcare infrastructure project would be an added advantage.
