A leading eyewear company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee the HR function across SEA Retail. The role involves developing HR strategies, managing HR processes, and leading a team of HR professionals. Ideal candidates should have 8-10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, and possess strong relationship management and analytical skills.

About South East Asia (SEA) Retail

SEA & Korea is a very dynamic sub‑region with a strong omni‑channel business model. Amongst it is the Retail business division for the SEA region. We are present in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam through 130 retail stores both fully owned and through our Joint Ventures. We are proud to have close to 400 employees.

The incumbent will oversee the HR function across SEA Retail and report into the Head of HR of Asia and functionally to the Head of Retail SEA. The incumbent will also lead a team of HR Professionals located across SEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as part of the Leadership teams to drive business results through optimizing organization efficiency, developing people culture, enhancing talent management, HR structure & processes.
  • Directly lead a team of HR professionals to develop and execute HR strategies and tactics that develop the organizational capability and capacity to achieve the organizational objectives.
  • Anticipate human resource issues, concerns, and needs based on business strategies and internal and external environmental and competitive factors.
  • Partner with HR Asia and Headquarters colleagues to create and operate consistent HR processes, systems, and tools to deliver HR services efficiently and effectively to the businesses.
  • Drive a culture of performance, results, and positive employee relations.
  • Coach leaders on HR capability including talent management and organizational change.
  • Lead the execution of core HR process across the business including Organization Design, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits Management, People Development, Budget Planning, Manpower Forecasting, and Change Management.
  • Provide a broad range of HR services in support of the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle including talent attraction, onboarding, engagement, retention and up to separation.
  • Lead regional HR initiatives and programs while partnering Asia and Global HR teams.
  • Constantly enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR organization and develop the talent within the function to meet the needs of the business and ensure succession depth.

What You Should Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • 8‑10 years of progressive HR experience including solid HR Business Partner experience across multiple countries. Retail experience would be highly advantageous.
