A prominent regional bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Relationship Manager to manage key client relationships with large local corporates, including government-linked companies. The role involves client management, deal origination, and compliance with banking standards while aiming for strategic growth. We are currently partnering with a prominent regional bank that has a growing presence in Singapore and a strong reputation for stability and client service across Asia. As part of their continued expansion, the bank is looking to hire an experienced Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of large local corporates with annual turnover of SGD 300 million and above, including government-linked companies (GLCs) and top-tier local conglomerates (TLCs).
This is a high-impact role for a banker who is commercially driven, client-focused, and passionate about delivering strategic banking solutions to key Singapore corporates.
Client Relationship Management
Manage and grow a portfolio of large local corporates, cultivating long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders.
Origination & Deal Structuring
Proactively identify new business opportunities across existing and prospective clients. Lead the end-to-end origination process — from client engagement and solution pitching to structuring, negotiation, and closure.
Product Advisory & Cross-Selling
Deliver holistic banking solutions across transaction banking, bilateral and syndicated loans, FX, trade finance, and capital markets. Collaborate with internal product teams to deepen wallet share and enhance client value.
Credit & Risk Management
Take full ownership of the credit process — including credit analysis, application preparation, and post-approval monitoring. Ensure proper risk mitigation and timely renewals.
Internal Collaboration & Execution
Work cross-functionally with product, credit, legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and client satisfaction.
Compliance & Governance
Uphold regulatory and internal compliance standards, particularly around KYC, AML, and CDD in line with MAS guidelines.
Experience & Track Record
8–15 years of front-office experience in corporate or institutional banking, with exposure to large corporates and complex credit structures.
Proven ability to originate, manage, and grow high-value client relationships.
Strong deal execution skills across multiple product lines.
Technical & Functional Skills
Deep understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, and corporate lending structures.
Familiarity with products such as working capital facilities, structured trade, treasury solutions, and capital markets instruments.
Ability to manage the deal lifecycle independently with strong attention to detail.
Soft Skills & Competencies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commercially minded with a strategic and solution-oriented approach.
Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Additional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or ACIB are advantageous.
Familiarity with MAS regulatory standards and Singapore’s banking compliance framework.
