A leading technology firm in Malaysia is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales within the banking and financial services sector. Candidates should have at least 5 years in the IT software industry, an understanding of financial services, and the capability to manage and grow customer accounts. The role offers a dynamic work environment and numerous career advancement opportunities, as well as an attractive remuneration package including bonuses and benefits.
Successful candidates shall participate in business development and sales activities for our Banking and Fintech innovation ventures. The remuneration package includes a basic salary and variable / commission based portion upon achieving KPI targets.
Grow the Direct and Channel business for territories and accounts assigned at an acceptable rate to increase the market share of company's offerings, including new customer acquisition sourced through direct means, through partners or channels to generate new order and revenue, cross-selling and up-selling to existing customer to generate new order and revenue.
Manage all leads and opportunities funnel in a methodological manner providing periodic information as and when required on leads and opportunities generated, order and revenue forecast, achievement-to-date visibility with action plan to meet KPIs.
Account management to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest possible level, collect all receivables promptly, and understanding customer needs to discover new opportunities for potential cross-selling and up-selling.
Provide input to software R&D staff to ensure that company offerings are constantly being enhanced to remain competitive against other solutions in the market.
Protect and maximize the company’s interest in negotiations.
