Job summary

A well-established Palm Oil Mill company in Kubu Gajah, Perak is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of experience and proficiency in accounting software. Communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia are required. The role offers a housing allowance and outpatient coverage for staff and family, with a salary of up to RM 4,200.

Job description

Our client is a well-established Palm Oil Mill company, looking for Accounts Executive to join their team, based at Kubu Gajah, Perak.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports
  • Manage internal company transactions, accruals, and fixed asset records
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and relevant authorities
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing activities
  • Provide financial insights and ad-hoc reporting to support management decisions
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (LCCI qualification is an advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in full set of accounts
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
