Job summary

A leading air conditioning company located in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to guide an accounts assistant and manage treasury matters, cash flow forecasts, and various financial reports. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a degree in Accounting or Finance. Ideal candidates will have skills in reconciliation and tax computation and be familiar with SAP systems. This position offers a chance to contribute to the financial health of the company.

Qualifications

  • Guide and supervise Acct Assistant in relation to treasury matters.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecast.
  • Dealing with the banker for hedging of forex transactions.
  • Reconcile AR & AP intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Assist in month end closing, such as preparation of journal.
  • Assist in tax computation for annual compliance purpose.
  • Assist for yearly audit preparation.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Guide and supervise Acct Assistant in relation to treasury matters, posting of invoices, DN & CN.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecast, ensure submission to HQ on timely basis.
  • Dealing with the banker for hedging of forex transactions mainly for overseas payments.
  • Reconcile AR & AP intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Preparation of expenses analysis and schedules required for various management reports.
  • Assist in month end closing, such as preparation of journal and schedules.
  • Assist in various reports as per the statutory requirements; (Bank Negara statistic report) & bank statement reports.
  • Assist in the tax computation for annual tax compliance purpose.
  • Assist in quarterly stock take activities and liaise with the bankers relating to all banking facilities, authorised signatory matters and so on.
  • Assist for the yearly EP cash flow & expenses analysis.
  • Assist for system error occurred in e‑invoice portal/LN System/SAP system.
  • Assist for ad hoc reporting from time to time.
  • Assist for yearly audit preparation.
Requirements
