Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Compliance & Audit professional with 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance. Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, taxation regulations, and internal policies.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretarial, and bankers.

Support audit, tax filings, and statutory submissions in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain proper documentation, record keeping, and filing systems.

Teamwork & Professional Conduct

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Support junior staff where required and work collaboratively to meet reporting deadlines.

Demonstrate flexibility in working extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

Uphold professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in a corporate, professional services, or SME environment.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Hands‑on experience in maintaining a full set of accounts, including month‑end and year‑end closing.

Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretarial firms, and bankers.

Proficient in ZOHO accounting software is an added advantage.

Good analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Able to start immediately and work in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

Manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly accruals.

Monitor cash flow, expenses, and working capital to support operational needs.
