Job description

Accountable for overall production performance and line efficiency under his / her supervision.

Responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of production and equipment to reduce changeover and impact from line bottlenecks.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

Supervise the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.

Good coordination with Raw Material Store team to ensure smoothness of material transfer process to production before line start.

Organize workflow according to line capacity, coordinating with logistic team to meet delivery schedule and to complete assigned jobs.

Maintain safe working environmental. Ensure employee undergoes safety training as required by Company Policy.

Conduct formal performance reviews for subordinates at least twice in a year and provide employees with feedback to help them improve and meet targets.

Conduct formal performance review for new operator for probational review.

Initiate disciplinary measures according to company policy and advice from HR when needed and to dismiss production employees when all corrective attempts have failed.

Maintain production control records and provide information to customers and management regarding delivery dates, schedules and operating problems.

Ensure proper documentation, and maintain reports and records.

Production data collection, tabulation, and analysis for continuous improvement.

Ensure implementation of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), HACCP, and OSHAS & Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the whole operation (Material handling, labeling, coding, packing and palletizing).

Verify and make sure all batch card complication is done according to standard.

To ensure all aspect of an operations or process meet according to specific requirements.

Investigate and follow up on corrective and preventive measures to reduce safety risk on product and facilities.

Liaise closely with the maintenance team to ensure machine efficiency and minimize machine downtime through effective maintenance programmed.

Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure that products are meet to Quality standards.

Work closely with the QA/QC team on the trial protocol, validation, line inspection, internal/ external audit, complaint handling and other quality related matters.

Support R&D trial run with proper arrangement of production facilities and manpower.

To carry out other related duties assigned by management from time to time.

Cultivate continuous improvement mindset in production team to ensure production line continuity follow the latest productivity requirement and the volume demand.
