Junior/Intermediate

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying defects, and supporting the QA team in delivering high-quality software. • Test Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Testim, Postman, JMeter, Selenium and others to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
• Testing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans that address functional, performance, and usability aspects of our platforms (desktop, mobile, iOS, Android, API).
• Testing Execution and Reporting: Execute manual and automated tests, track and manage defects using a bug-tracking system, and produce detailed test reports adhering to QA standards.
• Mentorship and Team Collaboration: Mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in QA practices.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of defects to identify root causes and collaborate with development team to solve the issue.
• Participate in Design Reviews: Engage in software design reviews to provide input on quality and testability of new features, ensuring alignment with user expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in the testing process, recommending new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance overall quality.

• Test Execution & Defect Management: Execute manual test cases, report defects, and track them using a bug-tracking system to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Test Plan & Case Preparation: Create and maintain test plans and test cases based on functional and business requirements.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with developers, senior QA engineers, and product teams to validate software functionality, usability, and performance across platforms (desktop, mobile, iOS, Android, API).
• Basic Automation Testing: Gain hands-on experience with automation tools like Testim, Postman, JMeter, and Selenium under guidance, contributing to automated test execution.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyze defects and reproduce issues to help identify root causes in collaboration with senior QA, QA lead and development teams.
• Participate in Design Reviews: Join requirement and design review discussions to gain insight into testing strategies and improve test coverage.
• Process Improvement & Learning: Continuously develop QA skills, stay updated on best practices, and contribute to refining testing processes within the team.

• Must-Have Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with minimum 3 years hands on experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).
• Have advanced skills in Postman or experience in creating custom test scripts.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes.
• Actively involves in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, daily standup, demo and retrospective.
• Experience with defect management and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Nice-to-Have Skills
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Java.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
• PSM / CSM or equivalent certification in software testing.
• Familiar with BDD / TDD framework.
• Experience with cloud environment like AWS and Azure.

• Must-Have Skills:
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong foundation in manual testing.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing and willingness to learn frameworks such as Testim (Other UI automation tool), JMeter, and Postman.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, grooming, daily standups).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, track, and troubleshoot defects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with developers and senior QA engineers.
• Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Basic experience or exposure to automation scripting in automation tool (Testim, Postman, other UI automation tool).
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent software testing certification.
• PSM / CSM or equivalent certification in software testing.
• Exposure to AI-driven test tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools).
• Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
