Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and client‑specific requirements.
Ensure QA/QC procedures, processes, and documentation are up to date and aligned with project specifications.
Monitor adherence to QMS across all engineering services projects.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Review project designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards before execution.
Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to QA procedures.
Provide guidance and training to engineering teams on QA requirements and best practices.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Quality Control (QC)
Develop and oversee QC inspection plans for engineering activities, materials, and equipment.

Review test results, inspection reports, and non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
Approve or reject materials, equipment, and workmanship based on QC results.

Maintain accurate QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test certificates, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
Prepare periodic quality reports for management and clients.
Ensure traceability and proper storage of quality documentation.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant national and international codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
Stay updated on industry best practices, quality standards, and new technologies in engineering services.
Lead, mentor, and supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
Allocate resources and responsibilities effectively within the QA/QC team.
Conduct performance reviews and recommend training to enhance team capabilities.
Client and Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors on quality requirements and inspections.
Participate in project meetings to provide QA/QC inputs and resolve quality‑related issues.
Address client feedback regarding quality issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
Promote a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
Identify gaps in processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
Reporting to Project Leadership
All QA/QC activities, inspections, reports, and recommendations shall be directly reported to the Project Director (PD) and Project Manager (PM) to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and client requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC roles within engineering, construction, or related industries.
At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing QA/QC teams.
Proven experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Experience in inspection, testing, and compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Familiarity with project documentation, audits, and reporting to senior management.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
Excellent understanding of QA/QC principles and methodologies.
