We are seeking an experienced QA/QC - Executive / Associate Manager to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in overseeing and managing Quality Assurance / Control (QA/QC) activities across our manufacturing plant.
You will support the QA/QC Department in managing in-process inspections, incoming raw material checks (latex and chemicals), finished-product laboratory testing, and ensuring all related procedures and work instructions are properly implemented. This full-time position is vital in maintaining and enhancing the highest quality standards across our manufacturing and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA/QC team, overseeing overall QA/QC activities across all production lines to meet established quality standards.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Support and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO, ASTM, regulatory requirements, and customer‑specific quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Sales teams to improve product quality, address customer complaints, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, providing timely, effective investigation and resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization, defect reduction, and cost savings.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities for non‑conformances and product defects.
- Review, analyze, and report key causes of quality losses and non‑conformances, and propose improvement solutions to Management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; preferably Polymer Science, Chemistry, or equivalent disciplines.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in latex products is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC tools, Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Proven leadership experience in managing QA/QC teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and laboratory techniques used in latex manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and report‑writing skills.
- Preferably staying within Negeri Sembilan.
